Hats Off! to Vice President of the NCWN Board of Trustees Paul Jones whose article "Ekphrastic Poetry" appears on the website for FRANK Gallery, located in Chapel Hill. Paul discusses the history and tradition of ekphrastic poetry, from Homer to Keats to Auden, and offers links for the modern poet.

Hats Off! to Stephanie Andrea Allen whose speculative flash fiction story, "Moji," was published in Ryder Magazine. "'Moji' is a swift, shocking tale that explores the intersections of technology, social media, authenticity, and embodiment, wherein our main character, Murph, discovers that the creation of a new avatar may have profound consequences" (Justin Chandler, editor).

Hats Off! to Kat Burnette whose poem “Gabriel” appears in Vietnam War Poetry under the pen name SK Burnette.
