Hats Off!

Hats Off! to Michele Young-Stone, author of Lost in the Beehive, an O Magazine 2018 Top-Ten Pick; Above Us Only Sky; and The Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors; who will give the Keynote Address, "Balancing the Art and Business of Writing," at Christopher Newport University's 39th Annual Writers Conference, May 15-16, at The Freeman Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Michele will speak Friday, 6:00-7:00 pm, and teach a workshop on Crafting Complex Characters on Saturday morning. In her keynote, Michele will discuss why commercial publishing isn't for everyone. She will discuss both sides of the coin, the pros and cons of putting your work out there, of coping with rejection, and moving forward.
