When she receives alarming news that her twenty-year-old daughter, Sarah, who works at the local pharmacy's soda fountain, has eloped with a man of questionable background, Elizabeth fears Sarah is making the biggest mistake of her life. Rose Ash was raised in Connecticut, studied at the University of Connecticut and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and has a background in pharmacy. She lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This is her first book of historical fiction.
