Charles Fiore has been the communications director for the North Carolina Writers' Network since 2011. Before that, he was the public relations director for a small press in Chicago, promoting books by the baseball writer Bill James, the religion and sports writer Gary Graff, and North Carolina's own Paul Wilkes. Fiore is the author of the novels The Last Great American Magic, which won the 2017 Book of the Year Award from Underground Book Reviews, and Green Gospel (Livingston Press, 2011). You can look for him on social media, but you're more likely to find him at cultural events around the Triangle. Website: www.lcfiore.com.
