Hats Off! to Tom Wood who teamed up with Nashville's East Side Storytellin': Wood read from his novel, Vendetta Stone, followed by a local musician—Ian Johnson—who performed and spoke about his original music. The night ended with a round-up conversation with the artists about art and their personal connections to Nashville. East Side Storytellin' takes place at East Side Story bookstore, run by Chuck Beard.

Hats Off! to NCWN communications director Charles "LC" Fiore whose short story "In Limbo" appears in the inaugural issue of The Ottawa Object.

Hats Off! to Marni Graff whose novel The Green Remains, book two in The Nora Tierney English Mysteries, has won First Place for "Best Classic British Cozy" in The Mystery & Mayhem Awards 2014 from Chanticleer Media.
